Our Breeding Philosophy

guppie.au is a small, specialist guppy breeder in Australia, not a high‑volume fish farm. We work with a limited number of premium and fancy guppy strains and only breed selected pairs to protect health, colour quality, and line stability.

This boutique approach lets us focus on rare guppy lines and proven bloodlines. Each pairing is chosen for predictable offspring, strong finnage, and vibrant colour, so hobbyists can buy guppies online with confidence and real breeder support.

Proven Bloodlines & Selection

We source our foundation stock from documented, reputable lines with established genetic histories. Because we keep our strain list intentionally small, we track each line closely and plan pairings for trait consistency, colour clarity, and balanced finnage.

The goal is simple: healthy fish, stable colour expression, and predictable genetics for Australian aquariums.

Australian Water Adaptation

Our fish are bred and raised in Australian tap water conditions so they transition smoothly into home aquariums. This reduces stress, improves long‑term health, and makes acclimation easier for new keepers.

Online‑Only, Australia‑Wide Delivery

We sell guppies online and do not operate a public shopfront. This keeps our breeding room stable, biosecure, and focused on fish health rather than foot traffic.

We ship across NSW, VIC, QLD, SA, and ACT when conditions allow. Interstate dispatch is on Monday, and NSW dispatch runs until Tuesday. Orders must be confirmed and paid by 3pm the day before dispatch (Sunday 3pm for Monday dispatch).
